Principal's Page

It is my privilege to be chosen to serve as the Principal of Richardson
Park Elementary School. I have over 30 years of experience as an educator in the
state of Delaware and I am excited to return to the school district where my
educational journey began. My journey began in 1991 at Wilmington High School
where I was able to work with a diverse group of students towards academic
success. I have worked at other districts throughout the state that has given me a
great amount of experience working with all populations of students. My focus is
to remove all barriers so that all students have the opportunity for success.
I am married and celebrating my 32nd year of this union with three
grown daughters, a son in law and a grand dog. Family is very important to me. I
believe in not just having a strong family but also have a strong close-knit
community. My goal at Park is to strengthen our community so that we all bring
our gifts and abilities collectively to ensure that all of our students have the
opportunity for success.
I look forward for the opportunity to serve as the leader here at
Richardson Park as well as working with families to create an outstanding learning
environment for all of our students. Let’s have a great year!
